Parker’s Christmas Parade boasts a long tradition for the community. Though it has been canceled for the past few years, it returned last year and was such a hut that it’s back this year on Saturday, December 9, 2023. The parade, which runs through Downtown Parker, includes floats, marching bands, cars, horses and more.
The Parade will start along Victorian Drive and go east on Mainstreet to Parker Station. Spectators can arrive as early as 9:30 a.m. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. and festivities run until about 1 p.m.
Before or after the Parade, be sure to check out the Parker Hometown Christmas Market, a festive, kid-friendly, outdoor craft show that’s free to the public.
You’ll find a variety of Colorado makers selling all sorts of goodies, including handmade art, crafts, jams, soaps, jewelry, woodworking, ceramics, baked goods holiday crafts and Christmas ornaments. The Market is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
After shopping, have your photo taken with the friendly reindeer from Franktown’s 7 Oaks Ranch.
