Denver Public Library Extends Hours at 5 Locations
Woo-hoo! The Denver Public Library (DPL) will expand hours at five locations starting Sunday, July 23, 2023. The locations will now be open on Sundays, they will also open earlier on weekday mornings and will add some additional evening hours. Where to Donate Large Furniture in Denver
Whether you’re moving or just sprucing up your home, you may occasionally have large furniture pieces that you no longer need or want. It can be frustrating to figure out what to do with these large, and often cumbersome, furnishings — from coffee to dining tables and everything in between. They’re difficult to put in storage and you can’t just leave them with the weekly trash pickup or at a dumpster.

Talk Is Cheap! Have MHOTC Speak To Your Group
If your workplace or community group is looking for savings, consider contacting Mile High On The Cheap to schedule one of its FREE workshops on tips and tricks to stretching your dollar. For novices and bargain hunters alike, topics include everything from finding fabulous freebies, grocery shopping coupon strategies and budget-friendly holiday celebrations to senior discounts, travel on the cheap, summer savings in Denver-Boulder and more. You’ll find a list and description of many of our talks here. We can also customize a workshop to meet your specific needs and interests.
The fast-moving, interactive workshops range from 60 to 90 minutes (we can even fill two hours if needed), with plenty of time for questions. Each session includes a Power Point presentations, handouts and a door prize. Learn from local “cheapskates” how to live large in the Mile High City without breaking the bank. Workshops can be scheduled any day of the week, including weekends and evening hours. All you provide is the meeting space and participants. A minimum group of 20 is strongly encouraged.
