Buntport Theater is staging 125 “NO”s, a new comedy rife with gawping, gabbing, and a little stinky cheese. Entertainment lore says that the flop film Desire Me is the movie that made Robert Mitchum stop taking Hollywood seriously. He insists that one of the many uncredited directors made his co-star Greer Garson do 125 takes of the word “no”.
Buntport’s new play 125 “NO”s takes audiences behind-the-scenes, following four people as they pass the time, caught in this absurd moment of repetitive takes.
Conversation runs the gamut from Hollywood gossip to facts about sardine fishing to the character’s own desires.
The show runs from March 1 to 23, 2024.
Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Admission is name any price (including $0) to ensure everyone can enjoy the theater.
There is limited seating (the theater is small), so early reservations are recommended.
